My name is Jennifer Adams and I am a 'Jill of all trades': designer, photographer, videographer, thinker, problem solver and professional list maker. I have been immersed in multi-modal media for the last decade and have had the opportunity to work with some amazing organizations and individuals. I am a lover of natural light, animals of every size, live music, and happy people.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts (with a concentration in Convergent Media) in 2015 from the University of the Incarnate Word. I am looking to take on new adventures and opportunities that will expand my creativity and my passions. When I'm not geeking out over all things digital, you can find me exploring the great city of San Antonio with a camera and giant coffee in hand.
Thanks for stopping by and feel free to get to know me a little better by checking out some of my work.
Karl Lagerfeld once said, "What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce." I have been surrounded by cameras and photography in general for the majority of my life. I'm almost 100% positive that I could create a stop-motion of the first five years of my life with all of the moments captured on film. Whether it was disposable cameras or a DSLR, I have always had a close connection to photography. My favorite thing about the art is how personal it is; every photograph comes with a memory, a story, an emotion. I love being able to share and commemorate others' stories through images.
Video production has such a big place in my heart. From brainstorming ideas to the actual cinematography and post-production, my love and passion for videography is unending. Originally, I started out recording live music events and eventually branched out to short films and promotional videos. Each and every video I work on brings a new perspective and story. Gary Vaynerchuk once wrote, "No matter what you do, your job is to tell your story," and I wholeheartedly believe that to be true.
